Did you know that you can reserve your own domain name on the Internet? A domain name identifies you; it is your very own worldwide address on the Internet and it belongs to you. At fidelihost, in addition to offering web hosting services, we can also reserve domain names for you. Having your own domain name and someone to host your web pages makes you independent.

Unlike when you use free email services (which we shall not name out of decency), you will not depend on a free email service provider. What would you do if your free email service provider terminated its services or changed domain name? You would remain cut off, your email messages would be lost forever, your email address would no longer be valid – ever again. Free email service providers may even cancel your email account if it remains inactive for more than thirty days.

If you have your own domain name, you can rely on a permanent place on the Internet and you don’t have to worry about a thing. If you are not satisfied with the hosting service, you can always change provider: your domain name will follow you wherever you go: you move but your contact address remains the same. That way, you are totally independent.
